Casey & Alex

Resort: Moon Palace Jamaica
Location: Ocho Rios, Jamaica

What was the best part about having a destination wedding?
Not sure if it was because we were on island time or had unlimited drinks, but everything was just so perfect and relaxed. We were surrounded by our family and friends for an entire week and didn't have to worry about a single thing. The resort was beautiful, the staff was incredible, the food and drinks were amazing, and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We really lucked out with having such an amazing wedding coordinator at the resort (Ayana was a saint!) that executed everything so perfectly and brought our vision to life.

What was your experience working with Shoreline Destinations to plan your destination wedding?
The entire team at Shoreline Destinations were the real MVPs! They simplified the entire planning process for us and ensured that everyone was informed along the way. Prior to working with Shoreline Destinations, we had tried to do everything ourselves (rookie mistake) and could not get any responses from any of the resorts we were targeting.

Victoria & John

Resort: Beaches Turks & Caicos
Location:
Providenciales, Turks & Caicos

Why did you choose your resort and destination?
Turks & Caicos was the first trip we took together a few months after we officially started dating in 2018. Both of us had been to a few islands in the Caribbean before, but neither of us had been to Turks & Caicos before... and boy are we glad we chose it! The island was more beautiful than we could have dreamed of and when we got engaged we were so excited for our family and friends to experience the beauty for themselves. We decided to get married at Beaches Resort because it is an all-inclusive and has something for everyone. We were confident that it would have been pretty impossible for our family and friends to not love Turks & Caicos and Beaches, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We like to believe that we make pretty good decisions (individually and as a couple), and this was one of our best and favorite decisions to date.

What was the best part about having a destination wedding?
Everything! Everything! Everything! Outside of the wedding day itself, we got to spend a lot of unstructured "fun" time with our guests. One day we rented a catamaran and took everyone snorkeling. Another day we spent hours at the lazy river and water park going down water slides. Another day we hung out at the swim-up pool bars and then baked in the sun and swam in the crystal clear ocean. At night we had multiple group dinners (Hibachi was our favorite!), cocktail hours, and late nights singing karaoke. The experience gave our guests an opportunity to take a much needed vacation, while also making new friends, and creating new memories.

Tierney & Carey

Resort: Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Cap Cana
Location: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Why did you choose your resort and destination?
We choose the resort based on it being very new and had such amazing reviews and pictures. We heard great things about the Dominican Republic and is easy travel.

What was the best part about having a destination wedding?
To be with family and friends not only just one day but multiple days together. It was the best decision having a destination wedding.
