Hmmmm… it's hard for me to decide what I love so much about this resort. I guess because it checks almost every box, it's just one of those that is a slam dunk for me. Here's a few of my favorites that come to mind right away when I think of Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Cap Cana.

Why do I love Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Cap Cana? Here's why!
Perfect resort for everyone!! There is an adult-only side (Zilara) and a family-friendly side (Ziva). It's perfect for destination weddings, social groups and really... everyone. Adults have access to everything, even when staying on the family-friendly side. So put the kids in the kids club and go grab some alone time at dinner or hang at the adult-only pool for and hour or so!
The beach here is AMAZING! Sand is almost powder white, and most of the time, seaweed is minimal. It's wide too.
Rooftop Terrace When I think of a destination wedding reception, I think of this rooftop. The view is stunning... essentially a must in my opinion if you are getting married here. Choose it for your reception! See our blog post on our favorite Hyatt Ziva & Zilara venues.
Waterpark There's a fun waterpark on property complete with a food truck and lazy river. Hang there for a few hours, drop the kids in the club after, and then go grab a well earned cocktail!
Cocktails... I'm kinda sorta dying over the margaritas I get in the club lounge on the Ziva side. Not sure what it is, but they are reeaaaally good! So I always do club level and will walk from my pool chair to the lounge just to grab one.
Sports Bar & Martini Bar A bar for every type of traveler :)
Rooms There are very few resorts that have rooms large enough for a family of 5. Fear not, you can here! 2 doubles and a sofa bed in certain room categories!!
Journeys Restaurant It's the super cool Indian Restaurant on property... there is literally a train car built into the restaurant. Get there early enough and you might score yourself a coveted seat
Noodle & Thread I'm a sucker for a cheese & charcuterie board. The Italian restaurant here starts every meal with a selection of meat & cheeses... I'd go there for that alone!
Location When the resort is 15 minutes from the airport, in a stunning planned community away from the "strip" of hotels in Punta Cana, has a marina 5 min away and an eco park, it's a no brainer!
Staff Ok, so I know many of them and they know me. After developing relationships with them from the moment they opened, I feel like I'm coming home when I visit here. This staff is one of the most professional and caring group of people I've had the pleasure of meeting.
