We’re so excited to work with you on planning your dream destination wedding! It’s an honor to be part of this special milestone, and we’re here to ensure the process is as seamless and enjoyable as possible. The next steps focus on narrowing down the perfect resort for your celebration.

Step 1: Pay our $300 one-time Planning Fee to get started.

Step 2: Resort Proposal
You’ll receive a curated list of resort recommendations within 7 days to review and narrow down complete with personal notes on why I think the resorts are a good fit for you. I'll also provide specific "homework" steps to narrow down your list.

From there, you'll share your top 3 favorites, ranked in order of preference if possible with me. If you can narrow it down to 2, even better—that will help streamline the process, getting you closer to finalizing contracts and launching your wedding webpage!

Step 3: Receive Room Block Proposals
You’ll receive the room block proposals to review, and I’ll confirm the ceremony date and time availability with the resorts. I’ll also provide details on ceremony package pricing and inclusions for your consideration.

Step 4: Choose Your Resort
At this stage, you’ll finalize your decision, sign the ceremony agreement, and submit the ceremony deposit.

Step 5: Sign Your Room Block Contract
Once the date and time are secured and you’ve signed the ceremony contract and paid the deposit, I’ll request the official room block contract. Together, we’ll decide on the room categories you’d like to include and the initial number of rooms for each. The proposals will outline all the perks and complimentary benefits you’ll receive from the resort.

Step 6: Wedding Planning Details

Meet Your Shoreline Wedding Coordinator
You’ll be introduced to your coordinator who will manage all of your guests’ bookings (resort reservations, travel insurance, transportation, etc.). They will keep you up to date on all of your guests who have booked and will be able to answer questions regarding your room block.
Access to “The Vault”
You’ll receive your password to “The Vault”, which is your all-access pass to insider travel and planning insights, our favorite wedding items, planning sheets, and more!
Create Your Custom Wedding Webpage
We’ll create your custom wedding website, and you’ll be ready to go! Guests have the flexibility to make payments over time, which is a convenient option for many. If they need assistance with flights, we’re happy to help, or they can book on their own and share their confirmation with us so we can arrange transportation.
Note, we will create your page and you’ll be able to request changes to copy, colors, etc. It’s your page and we are able to customize it to fit your needs.
Introduction to Your Resort Wedding Coordinator
Andrea will introduce you to your on-site wedding coordinator at the resort. They will work closely with you to plan every detail of your ceremony, reception, and additional events. From selecting the perfect locations to coordinating décor, menus, photography, and more, your coordinator will ensure everything is flawlessly arranged.

Step 7: It’s Go Time!
From the moment we create your wedding webpage to the day you say "I do," we’ll be with you every step of the way. As you finalize the details of your ceremony, reception, and other events, our team will be right by your side, ready to answer questions and provide any assistance you need.

As your big day approaches, we’ll send travel reminders and helpful tips to ensure you and your guests are fully prepared for a seamless getaway. This can include the following:

Custom Wedding Information Sheet (Know Before You Go)
30 days prior to arrival all guests will receive a pdf with details on your wedding events, attire recommendations, excursion/activity suggestions, transfer information, travel reminders, and more.
Optional Group Zoom Meeting
“Let’s get the party started” happy hour via Zoom with Shoreline Destinations, guests, and the couple to review outstanding questions, overview of wedding events, and travel reminders.
