I’ll be totally honest — this resort is beautiful, but it’s important to know what you’re signing up for!
Beach Location:
While the resort boasts gorgeous beach views, it isn’t technically right on the sand. There’s a short pathway (about a five-minute walk) that gets you to the beach, and while it’s easy and within eyesight, it’s not a true beachfront property. A shuttle might be added in the future, but for now, consider it your warm-up stroll before hitting the water.
Resort Location:
Secrets Baby Beach is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Oranjestad, Aruba’s capital, offering a more secluded and peaceful vibe. I strongly recommend renting a car or Jeep. Aruba is meant to be explored! Staying at the resort the entire time means missing out on local gems, authentic eats, and the true spirit of the island.
I’ve been to Aruba seven times (and counting!), so trust me when I say: a little road trip is the perfect way for your guests to truly experience everything this beautiful island has to offer.
