Our Favorite Sandals Resorts for Honeymoons
Sandals St. Vincent
Let’s just say it: we’re picky. We’ve been to (almost) every Sandals resort, and while they're all beautiful, not every one earns a spot on our honeymoon shortlist. Your honeymoon isn’t just any vacation, it’s the post-wedding exhale, the trip you’ll talk about for years, and the place where "just married" energy meets all-inclusive bliss.
That’s why we’re big believers in choosing a unique island for your honeymoon. Jamaica has some amazing Sandals properties (you’ll see one on this list!), but we usually recommend saving it for an anniversary or a just-because escape. For honeymooners? We’re going next-level. Island gems. Gorgeous beaches. Romantic room categories. All vibes, no stress.
Here are the 5 Sandals resorts we’re currently loving for honeymoons, and why we keep sending our couples back.

Sandals grenada
Pink Gin Beach, Grenada
At a Glance
Rooms: 225
Closest Airport: Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND)
Transfer Time: 5–7 minutes (yes, we timed it!)
Pools: 5 pools, 2 whirlpools, 1 swim-up bar
Beach Access: Yes — tucked along secluded Pink Gin Beach
Vibe: Romantic, luxe, and off-the-radar
Why We Love It
Sandals Grenada is the definition of a hidden gem. Sitting pretty on Pink Gin Beach and just five minutes from the airport (yes, we actually timed it), it feels worlds away while still being easy to reach. Known as the Spice Isle, Grenada isn’t on everyone’s radar yet—and that’s exactly why we love it. If you’ve already checked Jamaica and St. Lucia off your list, this island feels like your next-level discovery.
The resort itself is anything but ordinary. Picture 225 rooms spread across three villages, with private plunge pools tucked away like little secrets and Skypool Suites so dramatic they deserve their own passport stamp. Nine restaurants serve everything from fine dining to casual bites, five pools deliver plenty of options for both splashy afternoons and quiet lounging, and the water sports menu reads like a love letter to adventure. Think paddleboarding, Hobie Cats, snorkeling, and yes, unlimited scuba for certified divers.
Grenada’s energy is equal parts romance and thrill. Start the day diving together in crystal-clear water, claim a spot at the swim-up bar for afternoon cocktails, then end with a dinner that feels far beyond “all-inclusive.” Add in the spa, daily activities, and butler-level service, and you’ll get why this resort isn’t just another Sandals- it’s the blueprint for where the brand is headed.
My Pro Tip: Grenada isn’t the easiest island to reach, but that’s half the magic. The best places never are. If you’re dreaming of a Skypool Suite, lock it in early because they disappear fast. Once you arrive, lean into the island vibe: dive, sip, float, repeat. This is one of those rare spots that makes you feel like you’ve discovered the Caribbean’s best-kept secret.

Sandals Royal Curaçao
Willemstad, Curaçao
At a Glance
Rooms: 351
Closest Airport: Curaçao International Airport (CUR)
Transfer Time: 35–45 minutes
Pools: Infinity pool + quiet pool
Beach Access: Yes — clear water + plenty of chairs
Vibe: Modern, elegant, and full of hidden nooks
Why We Love It
Sandals Royal Curacao surprised us in the best way. The setting is gorgeous, with hammocks swaying between palms, oceanfront nooks you’ll want to claim for yourself, and an infinity pool that turns into the spot when the sun dips low. The beach isn’t miles long, but it’s soft, clear, and perfectly calm for floating the day away.
Food here is half the fun. Eight restaurants and three food trucks keep things lively, and the courtyard setup feels more like a festival than a hotel. Order sushi one night, South American flavors the next, then wander out for poffertjes—tiny Dutch pancakes dusted in sugar and drizzled with caramel. The coffee shop is a daily ritual too: espresso in the morning, wine and cheese in the evening. Curaçao knows how to romance a foodie.
And then there’s the adventure side. You can take a complimentary Mini Cooper for a spin to explore Willemstad’s rainbow-colored streets, snorkel with sea turtles, or sail to Klein Curaçao on a catamaran. Back at the resort, the lineup of kayaks, paddle boards, and unlimited scuba means you’ll never run out of things to try. Or you can just call dibs on a cabana, order champagne, and let the day slide by.
My Pro Tip: BOOK THE CABANA. Seriously, it’s the smartest $150 you’ll spend. Do not miss the French toast at the Mediterranean restaurant, and promise me you’ll try the poffertjes with caramel at least once. With so much to eat, drink, and do, plan a minimum of five nights here. Anything less and you’ll feel like you barely scratched the surface.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian
Gros Islet, Saint Lucia
At a Glance
Rooms: 311
Closest Airport: Hewanorra International Airport (UVF)
Transfer Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Pools: 5 pools, 3 whirlpools
Beach Access: Yes — calm bay + dramatic ocean views
Vibe: Iconic, lively, and full of variety
Why We Love It
Few places feel as cinematic as Sandals Grande St. Lucian. Set on its own peninsula, it gives you calm turquoise water on one side, crashing Atlantic waves on the other, and volcanic peaks rising like something out of a movie. This is Caribbean eye candy at its finest.
If you’re going big, the overwater bungalows are UNREAL: glass floors, private decks, and direct access to that turquoise water. But even if you’re not splurging, the resort overdelivers. Five pools, three whirlpools, overwater hammocks, and calm bay water that’s perfect for swimming or paddling make it impossible to run out of places to play.
Grande is also where “all-inclusive” really earns its name. Scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding- all included. Golfers get free green fees at Cap Estate, and land lovers can volley between tennis, beach volleyball, or croquet. Want more? You’ve got full access to two sister resorts nearby, which means 28 restaurants and endless new corners to explore.
Food here is as fun as the views. Sushi at Soy, jerk chicken at the beach shack, and crepes with espresso at Josephine’s make it easy to eat your way around the resort. Gordon’s on the Pier is THE dinner spot for overwater romance, and if you somehow run out of options, hop over to the other Sandals for even more.
My Pro Tip: This resort is pure romance even if you never set foot in a bungalow. Start the morning with crepes at Josephine’s, spend the afternoon sailing or floating in a hammock, and end the night with dinner over the water at Gordon’s. With views in every direction and energy that’s equal parts laid-back and lively, you’ll wonder why you didn’t book a few extra nights!

Sandals South Coast
White House, Jamaica
At a Glance
Rooms: 360
Closest Airport: Sangster International Airport (MBJ)
Transfer Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Pools: Multiple pools including quiet and lively options
Beach Access: Yes — 2 miles of private coastline
Vibe: Remote, romantic, and packed with activities
Why We Love It
Sandals South Coast like its own little world. Set on a 500-acre nature preserve, it’s remote enough to feel like a true escape, yet still buzzing with energy when you’re in the mood. The beaches are long and powdery, the water is bluer than a screensaver, and Latitudes, the overwater bar, might just ruin all other sunset cocktails for you.
This is the only Sandals with overwater everything: bungalows, a wedding chapel, and bars perched right above the sea. Add in nine restaurants, from Mediterranean to Jamaican, and you’ll never have to repeat a meal unless you want to. (Pro tip: the Jerk Shack here is the best we’ve tried, and the sushi on the beach hits differently.)
When it comes to activities, South Coast is loaded. Scuba diving, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, kayaking, take your pick. On land, there’s pickleball, tennis, volleyball, even croquet if you’re feeling playful. At night, the vibe flips to live bands, shows, and a piano bar that keeps the energy rolling. And if you want to venture off property, the catamaran leaves right from the dock—zero shuttles required.
My Pro Tip: The transfer is a bit of a haul (about 1 hour 45 minutes from Montego Bay), so do yourself a favor and plan at least five nights. If you can, upgrade to a Rondoval Suite in the Dutch Village—it feels like your own private hideaway. Then spend your evenings at Latitudes, your lunches at the Jerk Shack, and your mornings deciding whether today is for diving or doing nothing at all.
Sandals St. Vincent
St. Vincent & the Grenadines
At a Glance
Rooms: 301
Closest Airport: Argyle International Airport (SVD)
Transfer Time: 45 minutes
Pools: Main pool with DJ + quiet pool
Beach Access: Yes — private cove
Vibe: New, lush, and totally romantic
Why We Love It
Sandals St. Vincent is the kind of resort that feels fresh from the moment you arriveThe design is modern, walkable, and layered with thoughtful details, from complimentary bikes for exploring to tucked-away lounges perfect for cocktails with a view. Surrounded by lush hills and jewel-toned water, it feels like the Caribbean turned up a notch.
The rooms here raise the bar. Two-story overwater villas come with glass floors and rooftop decks, beachfront butler villas deliver jaw-dropping views, and suites with private media rooms make rainy days feel like a cozy bonus instead of a letdown. The whole resort layout just flows, balancing quiet escapes with social, party-ready spots.
Pools are everywhere and each one has a personality. The main pool brings the energy with a DJ and swim-up bar, while the quiet pool leans full zen mode. Free cabanas mean you can lounge without worrying about shade, and there’s no shortage of cocktail service to keep you company.
Foodies, this one is for you. Butch’s is a knockout for steak and seafood, Gatsu Gatsu makes the case for resort sushi being just as good as city sushi, and Isola’s gluten-free pizza might convert even the skeptics. With 11 restaurants and nine bars, you’ll never go hungry—or thirsty.
And when you want adventure, St. Vincent delivers. You can dive, snorkel, kayak, or take out a glass-bottom boat, then switch gears with nightlife that includes theme parties and live music. Or head off property for waterfalls, historic film spots, and some of the Caribbean’s most untouched natural beauty.
My Pro Tip: This resort has a little bit of everything, and it does it all well. Don’t skip Butch’s or Isola’s gluten-free pizza, take advantage of the free poolside cabanas, and pack an extension cord (no bathroom outlets here by law). Plan for a mix of pool days and excursions because between Dark View Falls, Pirates of the Caribbean filming sites, and St. Vincent’s wild beauty, you’ll want to see it all.
