It feels luxurious from the moment you arrive, but it’s still built for real vacation time. There are multiple pools (including an adults-only pool!), kids' and teens' spaces, golf, pickleball, a spa, great dining, and wedding venues for everything from a small celebration to a much bigger weekend.
As your destination wedding travel agent and resort matchmaker, I help you figure out whether this resort is actually the right fit before you commit! Then, I handle the pieces that can get overwhelming fast: securing and managing your room block, helping guests choose the right room and book their travel, keeping track of payments and deadlines, answering their questions, and working directly with the resort team.

When I look at a resort for a wedding group, I look at the full experience: where your guests will stay, what there is for them to do between your events, how the resort works once everyone arrives, and whether the wedding spaces truly fit the celebration you have in mind.

✓ Your guests all vacation differently, and that’s okay! Families have a kids’ club, splash park, family pools, and a teens’ club. Adults have an adults-only pool, spa, rooftop bar, speakeasy, golf, and pickleball. Everyone can enjoy the same wedding weekend without having to vacation the exact same way.

THE RESORT
So, What's It Actually Like?
Grand Hyatt Los Cabos is a brand-new, family-friendly all-inclusive resort in Cabo San Lucas. It sits right on the beach in the Oleada Pacific Living & Golf community, with ocean views, a modern coastal design, and the polished feel you expect from the Grand Hyatt brand.
The resort has 301 rooms and suites, so it’s large enough to work for a wedding group without feeling like a giant, overwhelming complex. The design is modern and coastal, with natural textures, calming colors, open-air spaces, and plenty of spots to sit, have a drink, and take in the view (seriously it is soo beautiful!)
What I love most for destination weddings is that your guests can each make the trip their own. The families can spend the day at one of the family pools or the splash park. Your friends can meet at the rooftop bar for sunset drinks. Golfers can head to the Ernie Els course nearby. Anyone who wants a quieter day can book a spa treatment or hang by the adults-only pool. It’s such a great resort pick for a mixed guest list.

My Take on Grand Hyatt Los cabos
I am genuinely excited about this resort! I had the opportunity to see it before it opened, and it is gorgeous. It has that polished Grand Hyatt feel, but it is also family-friendly and all-inclusive, which is not always easy to find in Cabo.
I would put Grand Hyatt Los Cabos on the shortlist for couples who want a more upscale all-inclusive experience in Cabo, without choosing a resort that only works for adults or only works for families.
Your guests can have a pool day, play golf, book a spa treatment, hang out at the rooftop bar, or bring their kids along and still feel like they’re on vacation. It gives everyone a reason to be excited about the trip, which is exactly what I want for a destination wedding group!
The biggest thing for me? I already have a fantastic relationship with the wedding team here. Those relationships matter when we are helping our couples plan from miles away!

ROOMS & SUITES
Where You’ll Stay
Grand Hyatt Los Cabos has 301 rooms and suites, which gives us a really nice range of options for a wedding room block. There are 244 standard rooms, 42 swim-out rooms, and 57 suites, including larger one-bedroom suites and beachfront suites with private plunge pools.
That means your guests can choose the kind of stay that works for them. Some guests will love a beautiful standard room, while others may want to splurge on a swim-out room or suite for a little extra space and a special upgrade. You do not need to offer every single room category to your guests, though!
This is where we come in. We help you narrow down the room types that make the most sense for your group, secure your room block, and create one easy place for guests to book. As reservations come in, you can see who has booked, while we handle the questions about room options, payment deadlines, flights, transfers, and all the little details that can quickly become overwhelming.
Your only job is to send your guests to the booking link. We take it from there!

For a destination wedding group, food matters. You want your guests to have easy, casual options during the day, but you also want them to be excited about dinner! Grand Hyatt Los Cabos has a really nice mix of both, from poolside lunches and coffee runs to Italian dinners, Pan-Asian dishes, contemporary Mexican food, and sunset cocktails on the rooftop.

Brasamar | Contemporary Mexican dining by the sea, with Baja-inspired flavors and fresh corn masa
Sekai | Pan-Asian dishes, including bao, curries, wok-fired specialties, seafood, and tandoori
Lotus Kitchen | An all-day dining marketplace with international options, Mexican specialties, made-to-order dishes, and changing dinner themes
Cocomar | Easy family-pool lunches, familiar favorites, and treats for both kids and adults
La Malinche | Adults-only poolside bites and cocktails for a quieter afternoon

This is exactly the kind of dining lineup I love for a wedding group. There are special spots for a date night, easy places to grab lunch between wedding events, and enough variety that everyone can find something they are excited about!
THE GUEST EXPERIENCE
What will everyone do all week?
Your wedding may be the reason everyone comes to Cabo, but they are also coming for a vacation! At Grand Hyatt Los Cabos, your guests can have a completely different kind of day and still meet back up for dinner, drinks, or your wedding events later.
Pool + Beach Days
There are six oceanfront pools, including a quieter adults-only pool and family-friendly pool areas. Guests can spend the day by the water with pool and beach service, take out a paddleboard or kayak, or simply find a lounge chair and stay there until sunset. No judgment here!
golf
The resort is located within Oleada Pacific Living & Golf, home to an 18-hole Ernie Els championship links course. This is a huge plus if you have a group of golfers who will be looking for more than just a pool day!
spa + wellness
Kahál Spa has massages, facials, a thermal circuit with sauna, steam cabins, sensation showers, and immersion pools. Guests can also experience a traditional Temazcal steam-lodge ritual. There is even a nail bar and bridal room, which is a really nice option for your wedding party before the big day!
Because a destination wedding should leave you feeling relaxed, too!
For Kids and Teens
Families have a supervised kids’ club, while teens get their own social lounge and club. Parents can feel good about bringing the kids along without feeling like the whole trip has to revolve around kid activities.
nightlife
When the sun goes down, the resort has live entertainment and evening music, plus plenty of places to grab a drink. Guests can also take the resort’s shuttle to the Cabo San Lucas Marina if they want to explore beyond the property.
