How did you meet?
We met through mutual friends at an Auburn football game (nothing brings people together like tailgating and team spirit!). He got my number and even reached out the next day—great start, right? But then… crickets.
Months later, out of nowhere, a random FaceTime call brought us back in touch. One spontaneous conversation turned into planning a group beach trip for Memorial Day, and from there, things just clicked. The sun, the sand, and a little bit of fate—and the rest is history!
Why did you choose to have a destination wedding?
The beach has always been our happy place, so it felt only natural to say “I do” with the ocean as our backdrop. I had always dreamed of a destination wedding, and when we visited Hyatt Ziva & Zilara, everything fell into place. The stunning setting, swaying palms, warm breezes, and breathtaking views made it clear we had found the perfect place to begin our forever.
The resort exceeded every expectation and brought our vision to life in ways we never imagined. We are so excited to return and celebrate surrounded by the people we love most, in a place that is paradise.
It will be a cherished memory for us and a magical getaway for our guests—filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments by the sea.
