Heather and Brad recently said “I do” in a stunning destination wedding at the beautiful Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. It was such a joy to work with this wonderful couple and their incredible group of family and friends!

How did you meet? Brad and I met through mutual friends a few years prior to dating. Occasionally, Brad would message me trying to be flirtatious, but I showed no interest (as he would say). 😂
Fast forward two years to Mardi Gras. We had the chance to hang out again and we instantly connected. We made our relationship official a month later and we’ve been together ever since.
Why did you choose to have a destination wedding? We both love vacationing, especially to the Caribbean. We decided there’s no better way to celebrate our love than to be in our favorite place with our favorite people!
Why did you choose your resort and destination? When we started the process of picking a destination wedding resort, we wanted to go somewhere neither of us had vacationed to before, either Jamaica or the Dominican Republic. Although we’ve been to Mexico many times before (we LOVE Mexico), we couldn’t bring ourselves to take it completely off of the table.
After weeding through more than a dozen resorts, we fell in love with Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. We loved the intimate, yet luxurious feel to it. It had everything we were hoping for. Mexico wins again!!
What was your most memorable moment during your ceremony?
My most memorable moment during our ceremony had to be when I blew baby powder out of my vows booklet and said, ”I’m sorry…. I’ve waited a while for this.”
What was the best part about having a destination wedding?
The best part about having a destination wedding is how intimate the wedding is. In my opinion, only the people who truly want to be there to celebrate with you will travel the distance.
What was your experience working with Shoreline Destinations?
Having Shoreline Destinations as our travel agency was the best decision I made. These ladies were such a blessing to us. They made everything, from choosing a resort to coordinating all of our guest reservations, the most seamless process. I truly owe our incredible wedding experience to these incredible women. Our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without each and every one of them. All of my future travel will be made through Shoreline Destinations.
