How did you meet?
We met on Instagram. Emma stumbled across Sam’s Instagram page, and she thought he was cute. Emma requested to follow Sam on Instagram, and he accepted. Sam added her on Snapchat, and we have been inseparable ever since.
Why did you choose to have a destination wedding?
We loved the idea of a small, intimate wedding. We wanted family and our closest friends to share our special moment with us.
Why did you choose Dreams Playa Mujeres for your destination wedding?
We have been to a Secret resort before, and we loved it. We wanted a similar resort, but not the same one. We chose Dreams because we loved the variety of activities and restaurants, and because the beach was beautiful. We chose Cancun because we loved the weather and the resort's location.
What was your most memorable moment during your ceremony?
The most memorable moment was having our family and closest friends celebrate with us. With such a small group, there was minimal stress. The sand ceremony provided by the resort was a beautiful representation of our new start together in our lives, combining into one.
What was the best part about having a destination wedding?
The best part of having a destination wedding was the minimal to little stress planning!! Our wedding coordinator was amazing!! We loved celebrating for days on end with our family and friends. We loved our closet people in our lives, enjoying a vacation and also celebrating our big day with us!!
